HMP2.0 EOL Statement

3/20/2009 3:02:32 PM

Source: Product Management

Details: Dialogic has announced March 31st, 2009 as the EOL date for HMP 2.0.

Interactive Intelligence will continue to take support calls for customers running on Dialogic HMP 2.0 if the customer is current on their maintenance contract. Please note Dialogic will not be providing any updates or fixes for any new issues encountered with Dialogic version HMP 2.0 once the End of Life date has passed. IC 2.4 SU34 will introduce support for HMP 3.0.

The following links have been updated with new information regarding HMP 3.0 support on 2.4 and 3.0 systems.

    http://www.inin.com/support/dialogic/software/HMP_v30_IC24.asp
    http://www.inin.com/support/dialogic/software/HMP_v30.asp

Please go through the instructions on these pages carefully, with special attention to the following two documents:

    InstallingHMP30SU221orHigherforIC24Servers
    InstallingHMP30SU221orHigherforIC30Servers

Note: xIC 2.3.1 it is incompatible with HMP 3.0, therefore this combination will not be supported.

Any new or add-on HMP orders for 2.4 IC systems post this date (March 31, 2009) will be processed for HMP 3.0 only. This means that only HMP 3.0 licenses will be generated for any new HMP Media Resource orders for 2.4 systems past the EOS date. The current HMP part numbers in the 2.4 price sheets will now result in HMP 3.0 licenses. Note: NO CHANGE TO THE PART NUMBERS THEMSELVES.

Before March 31st, if a customer wants to place an order for additional HMP 2.0 resources, they can do so by specifically mentioning that they need HMP 2.0 in the order. Also, any 2.3.1 customers wanting to add HMP 2.0 resources should do so before this date. We will NOT support HMP 3.0 on IC 2.3.1.

Important note: IC 2.4 SU34 has been released. SU34 adds support for HMP 3.0 on IC 2.4, but we are currently working on an issue relating to HMP 3.0. For more information, please see the warning box on the following page:
