PAETEC'S VoIP and SIP Trunking Products Receive Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Enhancement Award

Research and consulting firm highlights PAETEC's reliability and hybrid solutions as key factors in the selection process of prestigious award PAETEC Holding Corp. (NASDAQ GS: PAET), a FORTUNE 1000 company, announced today that its Voice over IP Access and Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) Trunking Services have received the prestigious 2010 Customer Value Enhancement Award from the research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. Voice over IP using SIP allows businesses to merge the feature-rich and immense efficiencies of an IP-based network with voice calling to deliver a new generation of business-class voice solutions.
The Award is based on comprehensive best-practices research using the Frost & Sullivan "CEO 360 Degree Perspective," which in turn serves as the foundation of its TEAM Research methodology. The comprehensive report from Frost & Sullivan cited that PAETEC's "core IP-MPLS network helps it deliver VPN and IP trunking services with superior availability and reliability than those of its competitors. The multi-gigabit core allows PAETEC to provision high-bandwidth applications, including high-definition voice and video."

PAETEC's Voice over IP services include its Dynamic IP with SIP trunking product to support customer premises-based telephony, and the cloud-based Hosted IP Telephony delivering advanced features directly from PAETEC's network. Both support single- and multi-site businesses using PAETEC's national Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS) IP network.
